Weather Situation

A weak trough offshore of the southeast Queensland will push further eastward during the rest of today. A ridge will extend over the South Queensland Waters from Saturday and persist for the following few days, as a high moves east across southern Australia and into the Tasman Sea early next week. A moderate to fresh south to southeasterly wind change will move northward over the far southern waters from later Saturday or early Sunday.
