A high [1025 hPa] in the Tasman Sea maintains a weak ridge over the south Queensland waters. The ridge may strengthen a little by Wednesday as a new high move east into the Tasman Sea from southeastern Australia. A weak trough and southeasterly wind change will move slowly northward across the Gold Coast waters from Monday afternoon, reaching Moreton Bay on Tuesday before weakening.
