Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge north of Victoria, with northerly flow strengthening ahead of a cold front which will cross the State during the day today. A subsequent trough on Saturday morning will see a cold air mass extend over the State. On Sunday a low pressure system is forecast to develop near Bass Strait and this will extend another cold front over Victoria before moving over the Tasman Sea on Monday.
