- A ridge of high pressure extends over eastern Victoria from a high pressure system centred over Queensland. The ridge will move eastwards later Tuesday and overnight as a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will move across Victoria during Wednesday then a high pressure system is expected to build over the Bight later in the week and extend a ridge across Victoria. The main high pressure centre will move over Tasmania over the weekend and the ridge will move to the south of Victoria.
