- A cold front is approaching from the west as a high pressure system remains over the Tasman Sea. The front is forecast to enter western Bass Strait during the morning, reaching Port Phillip and Western Port around 1300hrs Wednesday. A strong high pressure system will move south of the Bight during Wednesday night and remain slow moving into the weekend as it directs a southwest to southerly airstream over Victorian coastal waters.
