A ridge of high pressure will extend over Victoria from a high pressure system over Queensland on Tuesday but this ridge will move eastwards later in the day as a cold front approaches from the west. This cold front will move across Victoria during Wednesday then a high pressure system is expected to build over the Bight later in the week and extend a ridge across Victoria.
