Weather Situation

Bass Strait is under a high pressure ridge until Sunday as it continues to shift east into the Tasman Sea. From late Sunday a low pressure trough approaches western Victoria, connecting to a cold front over western Bass Strait crossing the waters on Monday. On Tuesday a ridge in the south is forecast to extend north to Victoria as another trough and cold front approach from the west, travelling eastward on Wednesday.
