A trough of low pressure over eastern Victoria will continue eastwards overnight into the Tasman Sea. A high pressure system moves over waters to the south of the state to be in the Tasman Sea on Monday. A northerly airstream on Tuesday precedes another trough moving in from the west and reaching central districts in the afternoon and remaining districts on Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure moves into the west on Wednesday and more broadly over the state on Thursday.
