A high pressure system just to the west of Victoria will move over the Tasman Sea tonight. A weak cold front will cross Bass Strait on Friday night as another high approaches from the west. This high will move over the Tasman Sea on Saturday as a trough and cold front approach Victoria. The trough is forecast to cross western and central Victoria on Sunday as the front crosses Tasmania. The trough is expected to clear eastern Victoria early on Monday with the next high pressure system crossing Victoria later in the day.
