Weather Situation
A trough will cross the south Queensland waters on Sunday, followed by a weak ridge as a high crosses Tasmania. A low will form and deepen in the Tasman Sea on Sunday, before drifting southward towards New Zealand over the following few days. A fresh to strong south to southeasterly wind change will extend over the southeastern waters on Sunday in the wake of the trough.
