Wind: East to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots tending south to southeasterly in the morning then tending east to southeasterly in the middle of the day.

1st Swell: East to southeasterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres offshore.

Weather Situation: A ridge extends across southern Queensland waters from a high [1028 hPa] centred near New Zealand. The ridge will weaken over the coming days as a trough slowly crosses interior Queensland, reaching the coast on Thursday. A secondary trough is forecast to cross the coast in its wake on Friday.
