A ridge extends over the southern Queensland waters, as a high [1019 hPa] moves east across New Zealand. A broad low [1005 hPa] and trough in the Coral Sea will weaken on Sunday. A trough will cross the southeast waters early on Monday, followed by a new ridge as a new high begins to move east across the Tasman Sea.
