Weather Situation: A ridge extends over the south Queensland waters, weakening until Sunday as a high [1021 hPa] moves east across the Tasman Sea and New Zealand. A weakening trough may briefly move into the Gold Coast waters on Monday morning. The ridge will strengthen on Monday afternoon.
