A ridge over the South Queensland Waters will weaken from today as a high [1022 hPa] in the Tasman Sea moves further east. A weak trough and south to southwesterly wind change may move over the South Queensland Waters south of the Capricornia waters during Saturday or early Sunday. A weak ridge will extend across the southern waters in the wake of the trough.
