Weather Situation
A firm ridge extends over the South Queensland from a large high [1030 hPa] drifting slowly east across southern Australia. The ridge will persist for several days, weakening a little by the weekend. A developing low in Tasman Sea will drift northward in the coming days, and enhance winds and swells over far southern Queensland waters later this week and over the weekend.
