Weather Situation

A ridge over the South Queensland Waters will weaken and contract northward over this weekend, as a weak trough becomes slow moving over inland southeast Queensland. Another stronger trough may start to move northward over the South Queensland Waters from Tuesday next week. Fresh to strong north to northwesterly winds will develop over the far southern waters south of Sandy Cape from Saturday, moderating a little early next week.
