Weather Situation
A high to the northeast of New Zealand extends a weak ridge over south Queensland waters. A trough approaching from the interior is forecast to cross far southern waters on Thursday afternoon, bringing a vigorous southeasterly change. The change and trough will stall around Double Island Point on Thursday evening and Friday.
