Weather Situation
A weakening ridge extends across southern Queensland waters from a high [1030 hPa] centred near New Zealand. A trough, currently situated in the interior, will push across the southern and central Queensland waters on Thursday. A secondary trough is forecast to cross the coast on Friday as a low pressure system develops and deepens off the northeast New South Wales coast.
