Weather Situation

A ridge persists over the south Queensland waters. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Vaianu will move south over New Zealand later today, while generating a significant long period swell over the southeast waters. A trough will cross the south Queensland waters today, followed by a new ridge for the early days of next week.
