A weak ridge of high pressure extends over the southern Queensland waters from a high [1026 hPa] over southeastern Australia. The ridge will remain in place over the next few days as the high slowly drifts east. A trough will move east across southern Queensland from Sunday and across the South Queensland waters during Monday.
