Weather Situation

A trough and associated southeasterly change are moving northwards through the south Queensland waters, becoming a surge in southeasterly winds during today. A high south of the Bight will move eastwards and extend a ridge behind this trough, persisting for several days as the high enters and crosses the Tasman Sea.
