A ridge extends over southern Queensland waters from a high [1019 hPa] near New Zealand. A trough and brief southeasterly change will briefly move into the Gold Coast waters overnight into Monday morning. A ridge will redevelop on Monday across southern Queensland waters as a new high moves east into the Tasman Sea.
