Weather Situation
A weak trough extends across the Peninsula waters and will move over the Torres Strait on Thursday evening. The trough will move south on Saturday. A ridge of high pressure extends over the rest of the north Queensland waters. The ridge will slowly strengthen over the next couple of days as a high [1022 hPa] over the Tasman Sea moves slowly northeast.
