Weather Situation

A weakening ridge extends over the Central Queensland waters from a high [1035 hPa] near New Zealand slowly moving eastwards, with a weak pressure gradient further north. A new ridge will extend over the North Queensland waters from a high passing to the south of Western Australia from Tuesday, strengthening later this week.
