A ridge extends over the south Queensland waters. A high [1016 hPa] is currently moving east across the southern Coral Sea. A deep low [985 hPa] will cross Tasmania through today and Wednesday, and move east across the Tasman Sea from Thursday. A weak trough will cross the south Queensland waters late on Wednesday and early on Thursday, with a new ridge in its wake.
