1st Swell: East to southeasterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres through the Capricorn Channel.

Weather: Partly cloudy.

Weather Situation: A weak pressure pattern and light wind regime prevails over northern Queensland waters. A trough and southwesterly wind change situated in the interior is forecast to cross waters south of Port Douglas on Thursday, with a ridge developing behind it.
