Weather Situation
In the wake of a trough moving offshore of southern Queensland waters, a second trough and fresh westerly change is forecast to push through the waters on Friday as a low pressure system deepens off the northeast New South Wales coast. After the low pressure system moves away to the south, a weak ridge from a high [1017 hPa] over central Australia will develop over southern Queensland for the weekend.
