A trough will move north across the south Queensland waters this morning. A ridge will extend over the south Queensland waters in the wake of the trough as a high [1021 hPa] moves east across southern Australia. The ridge will strengthen on Wednesday as the high moves into the Tasman Sea, and be maintained on Thursday as the high moves east.
