A weakening ridge extends over the south Queensland waters from a high [1021 hPa] moving east across the Tasman Sea towards New Zealand. A weakening trough and brief southeasterly change may briefly move into the Gold Coast waters on Monday morning, before a ridge will redevelops on Monday afternoon as a new high moves into the Tasman Sea.
