1st Swell: Southeasterly around 1 metre, increasing to 2 metres through the Capricorn Channel.

Weather: Partly cloudy.

Weather Situation: A ridge extends across northern Queensland waters from a high [1028 hPa] centred near New Zealand. The ridge will weaken over the coming days, leading to a weak pressure gradient. A trough slowly crossing interior Queensland is forecast to reach central Queensland waters on Thursday, with a ridge developing behind it.
