A high [1024 hPa] over the South Pacific Ocean extends a weak ridge over the south Queensland waters. A trough and associated southeasterly change will push through the far southern waters late Monday into Tuesday. A new high over southern Australia will move east and extend a ridge behind the trough over the south Queensland waters.
