A ridge extends over the south Queensland waters, as a high [1019 hPa] moves east across New Zealand on the weekend. A broad low [1003 hPa] and trough in the Coral Sea will weaken on Sunday. A trough will briefly cross the southeast waters early on Monday, followed by a new ridge as a high begins to move east across the Tasman Sea.
