Weather Situation

A monsoon trough extends over the Peninsula and Cooktown waters. Tropical low 29U [998 hPa] in the northern Coral Sea will move towards the northeast coast over the next two days, drawing the monsoon trough south. Tropical low 29U will most likely cross the coast between Cooktown and Ingham on Friday, moving further inland on the weekend.
