Weather Situation

A strong high [1037 hPa] moving into the Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge over the northern waters which will persist for the next several days. A trough in the far northern Coral Sea will remain slow moving over the next few days and combine with the ridge, to maintain fresh to strong southeasterly winds over the northern waters into the early days of next week.
