Weather Situation
A high [1027 hPa] over the Great Australian Bight is extending a ridge across northern Queensland waters. The high will maintain the ridge and southeasterly flow across northern Queensland waters as it drifts eastwards over coming days. A trough will develop from Monday in the Coral Sea, creating a squeeze with the ridge, increasing southeasterly winds further.
