Weather Situation

A ridge extends over the Far North Queensland waters from a high [1033 hPa] south of the Great Australian Bight, while a weak trough is forecast to cross the remaining north Queensland waters during the weekend. The ridge will become dominant in the wake of the trough as the high slowly moves eastwards.
