Weather Situation

A ridge extends over the south Queensland waters as a high [1032 hPa] moves eastwards across southeastern Australia. The ridge will weaken as the high moves east across the Tasman Sea from Sunday. A coastal trough is forecast to form over the southeastern waters on Monday, before moving into waters off New South Wales and deepening into a coastal low next week.
