Weather Situation

A firm ridge extends over the south Queensland waters from a near-stationary high [1037 hPa] near New Zealand. The ridge will persist for few days, weakening a little from Sunday. A trough will linger well offshore in the southern Coral Sea for the next few days, before pushing away further eastwards early next week.
