Weather Situation

A high [1024 hPa] in the Tasman Sea maintains a weak ridge over the south Queensland waters. The ridge may strengthen a little by Wednesday as a new high move east into the Tasman Sea from southeastern Australia. A weak trough and southeasterly wind change will move slowly northward across the Gold Coast waters later today reaching Moreton Bay on Tuesday before weakening. Another trough may move over the South Queensland Waters later Thursday or early Friday followed by firm ridge and fresh to strong south to southeasterly winds.
