A high [1027 hPa] over southern Australia that is shifting slowly east, extends a ridge over the southern Queensland waters. A trough will develop from Monday in the Coral Sea, and shift northwards from Tuesday, creating a squeeze with the ridge, increasing southeasterly winds further.
