A tropical low [1006hPa] is forming northeast of the Top End in the Arafura Sea. Winds are expected to increase over eastern coastal waters as it moves southwards towards the northeastern Top End coast. As the low moves inland over the weekend, winds about eastern coastal waters will start to ease.
