Weather Situation
A ridge through central and southern parts of the Territory will strengthen on Thursday and Friday as a high pressure centre moves into the Great Australian Bight. Persistent ridging will maintain east to southeasterly winds through waters off the NT, freshest through the Gulf of Carpentaria and southern part of the Arafura Sea although easing marginally during the weekend.
