Weather Situation

A tropical low lies in northwest Queensland near the Northern Territory border and southern Gulf coast, directing fresh monsoonal northwesterlies through Gulf waters. The low will slowly drift southwards over the next couple of days with its subsequent location and strength becoming uncertain late in the week. A trough through the central NT may freshen westerly winds in the western waters later this week.
