A high pressure system near South Australia will slowly move east over the coming days as a low pressure trough deepens along the northern New South Wales coast, bringing fresh to strong southerly or southeasterly winds from Wednesday through to the weekend, moderating along the southern coast from Thursday. The trough will form a low pressure system over the southern Coral Sea or northern Tasman Sea on Friday or during the weekend, promoting strong southeasterly winds along the northern coast.
