Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is extending ridge across the coastal waters while drifting eastwards, bringing a northeasterly airstream. Winds will become northerly and freshen for Thursday and Friday as a cold front approaches from the west, before turning westerly over the weekend following its passage. Winds then turn southerly on Sunday as a second cold front brushes along the south of the state.
