- A high pressure system over the state is extending a strong ridge lies over New South Wales Coastal Waters bringing moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds. The winds weaken as the high moves over the Tasman Sea late Sunday. Behind this a cold front, will brush the southern coastal waters on Monday, leaving a southerly change in its wake. The change is expected to reach the QLD border on Tuesday.
