A high pressure system over Tasmania is directing onshore southeast winds over the coastal waters today. The winds will tend southeast to northeasterly on Monday and Tuesday as the high moves over the southern Tasman Sea, and then north to northeasterly along the southern coast on Wednesday as a low pressure trough approaches from the west.
