- A cold front will bring a fresh to strong, gusty southerly change to the northeast half of the coast later today before continuing across the Queensland border early Wednesday. Southerly winds will then gradually turn easterly mid to late this week as a strong high pressure system passes to the south of the state. The high will then enter the Tasman Sea and become slow-moving, maintaining east to northeasterly winds through the weekend.
