Weather Situation
Northwesterly winds are strengthening ahead of a cold front that will cross the state tomorrow. Winds will turn west to southwesterly on Friday following the passage of that cold front. A high pressure system over the Bight will then drift towards Tasmania while a low develops near New Zealand, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds and large, powerful waves to the coastal areas over the weekend and into early next week.
