Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is bringing east to northeasterly winds along the north coast, while, another trough associated with a low over Bass Strait is crossing the south coast. Then, another trough over the northern inland is forecast to deepen to a low pressure system and traverses the northeast quarter on Thursday, before entering the coastal waters of the Hunter or Mid North Coast on Friday and heading offshore during the weekend, with fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds in its wake.
