Weather Situation

A high pressure system west of Tasmania is directing onshore east to southeasterly airstream over the coastal waters while heading eastwards. Winds will turn north to northeasterly from Tuesday onwards as the high enters the Tasman Sea tonight or early Tuesday. A trough is then forecast to cross the southern and central parts of the coast late Thursday into Friday, with a southerly wind change in its wake.
