A cold front and its associated trough are crossing the southern and central coastal waters today, bringing fresh to strong west to southwesterly wind change across the southern coastal waters in its wake. Winds will ease and generally become light mid to late this week as a strong high pressure system slowly drifts across the state. A strong cold front will then cross the coastal waters during the first half of next week.
